The War Between The States
Museum, located at 107 S. Guerry St., Florence, S. C., would like to
invite the public to our 21st. Annual“ Christmas Open House “. It will
be held on Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 10 am. Till 5 pm.
This
day will include free admission, refreshments, and Book Signings for
“The Guns of the Pee Dee” by Ted L. Gragg. Ted and Bobby Butler will be
on hand to answer any questions about the discovery of the guns from the
CSS Pee Dee. Christopher Amer, South Carolina Underwater Archaeologist
will be here to tell the state’s part in it.
The Harllee Guards re-enactors will be on hand, dressed in period uniforms and doing military drills.
Please
come and join us for this festive season, and learn more about your
heritage and history. We are a non-profit museum, and all donations are
sincerely appreciated.
